Naked Run ‘BWC’ Barossa Valley Shiraz is named after the three proprietors of the company - Baraglia, Wood and Currie. The fruit for this wine is sourced from low yielding vineyards in the highly regarded sub regions of Greenock in the north and Gomersal in the West.of the Barossa Valley. The fruit is crushed and destemmed into small open fermenters. Some of the ferments undertaking natural fermentation for 12 days on skins and then pressed to new and older French and American oak barriques. After 20 months of maturation, the wine is bottled in December 2013.

The BWC Shiraz is a deep cherry red almost black in colour. It shows lifted roasted meat, char and spice aromas on the nose. The palate is full bodied, powerful with a wonderful silkiness. Blackcurrant, plums, roasted meat and chocolate characters are well balanced with charry, spicy oak. Great structure with fine dusty tannins, a wonderful wine to drink now or to cellar for many years to come.
